Alabama Coasting, in partnership with Bama-Q Productions, is hosting the Bama-Q Steak Cook-Off Association (SCA) Challenge Series for 2021. The series will be filmed for the hit Food Reality show Bama-Q and streamed across Amazon Prime, Amazon Fire TV and Roku along with several broadcast tv outlets.
ReplyDeleteGrilling in the Caverns: An official Steak Cook-off Association event that draws cook teams from all over the South (and potentially beyond) working the grills and vying for cash, trophies, SCA points, and most importantly – bragging rights. This is a double competition which means the teams will have two chances to submit a winning steak and the prize purse is doubled. Grilling in the Caverns also includes an Ancillary Challenge where the grilling masters will submit their best seafood dish – featuring Alabama Gulf Shrimp.
Grilling in the Caverns is a family-friendly event and our hosts at Rickwood Caverns are organizing some fun, food-inspired events to complement the steak cook-off. While programming is still being finalized, expect delicious food offerings, cooking challenges and demonstrations and a local vendors’ market. A portion of all ticket sales as well as proceeds from a Bama-Q Raffle will be donated to Chlldrens Hospital of Alabama.
